Laura Heeger is an attorney and former prosecutor in New York City. She lives in a small Connecticut village, practices global compliance, and lectures at the University of Connecticut Law School. She is happily married to Mike, and together they have four kids, now all grown, and a beloved Basset Hound. She is passionate about writing, reading, gardening, and travel, and she loves a good mystery.
