Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Fred Rohan-Vargas is of Latino Caribbean descent. He is an eclectic artist who has written several plays, short stories, articles, poetry, and songs. Mr. Rohan-Vargas holds an MFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and has taught for 25 years in New York City's public school system. He loves the power of words and their impact on people, whether viewed on stage, in film or imagined in a book. One of his notable works, "The Island of Yaki Yim Bamboo," was transformed into a captivating musical that graced the stage of the prestigious 13th Street Repertory Theatre Company in 2015. Mr. Rohan-Vargas lives in New York with his family and works as a playwright, songwriter, and producer in the theatre industry.
