Dr. Robert Silver, a world-renowned holistic and integrative veter-inarian, author, educator, and speaker, has spent the past four decades treating dogs, cats, horses, pocket pets, goats, llamas, birds, reptiles, and even a few circus animals. An experienced veterinary mycologist, Dr. Silver is Chief Veterinary Officer for Real Mushrooms, a Canadian functional mushroom company. As an experienced veterinary herbalist, he is former President of both the American College of Veterinary Botanical Medicine and the Veterinary Botanical Medicine Association.Dr. Silver teaches a six-hour online course for veterinary con-tinuing education titled "The Essentials of Medicinal Mushrooms" and sponsored by the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies.
