Phyllis Hoffman DePiano enjoyed many passions from sewing to hosting fabulous dinner parties where the grand finale was a magnificent homemade pound cake. An accomplished author of several books, including Gracious Spaces, Monograms & Antique Linens, The Entertaining Cookbook, and the Tiny Book series of cookbooks, Phyllis founded Hoffman Media in 1983 as a single mother working from her Birmingham, Alabama, home.
