Inhaltsangabe

Some books comfort the self. Seeking Shangri-La was written to free it. Informed by years of lived struggle, frontline work in ambulances and psychiatric units, and a relentless search for what is most true, Shangri-La is a poetic and penetrating work of spiritual philosophy for those still seeking answers to their deepest questions. Raw, mythic, and confrontational, it blends philosophy, psychology, mystical insight, and inner adventure into a work designed to crack the walls from the inside. This is implosive philosophy designed to shatter self-limiting beliefs. We venture, always to return. For in the end, Shangri-La can only be found within. May this book point you back home.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

TOR SYVRUD is a philosopher and holistic healthcare professional whose path has carried him through places of immense suffering: ambulances, psychiatric units, a wilderness therapy program, and a medical NGO in Myanmar. He is trained in emergency medicine and swiftwater rescue and holds a master's degree in financial engineering from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Seeking Shangri-La emerged from years of searching through philosophy, psychology, lived experience, and transformative inner work. It was written for those moments when life contracts and the vastness of the mystery is forgotten. He is also the creator of the Multi-Dimensional Medicine music series.
