Washashores Review (Volume 2, Issue 1, Summer 2025) is the second anthology of creative writing by the Washashores Writers Collective. The Collective is a diverse group of women and women-identifying writers with a connection to Martha's Vineyard, an island off the coast of Massachusetts. The essays, poems, and short stories in this collection were all inspired by the theme of "wanting" and the magic of the island with its unique culture, history, and mix of people. Proceeds from the sale of the Washashores Review support the Literary Arts program at Featherstone Center for the Arts, a vibrant and beloved nonprofit organization offering accessible year-round arts education and experiences for all ages and abilities on Martha's Vineyard.
