Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Atanu Biswas, M.D., M.S., is a board-certified plastic surgeon who trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona, following a full general surgery residency at the University of Arizona - nearly a decade of surgical training before he ever practiced independently. He holds an M.D. from the Quillen College of Medicine and a master's degree in medical sciences earned summa cum laude. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, serves as clinical faculty in the Marietta Plastic Surgery Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship and as adjunct faculty at Mayo Clinic Arizona, and has published in journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His clinical work has been featured in People and New Beauty. He practices in the Atlanta area. Load-Bearing is his first book - an economic history of his own field, and an argument for why the credential behind the scalpel matters more than the price in front of it.
