It can leave us feeling lost, broken, angry, or wondering if we'll ever feel like ourselves again. But what if the very thing that tried to break you became the foundation for the person God is calling you to become? In What Pain Taught Me, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor Mone't Smith shares a deeply personal journey through grief, trauma, loss, faith, and restoration. After losing her sister to violence, navigating seasons of personal hardship, and experiencing the devastating loss of her husband, Mone't discovered that healing isn't about pretending the pain never happened it's about learning to carry it without letting it define your future. Inside you'll find: Guided reflection prompts Scripture and faith-based encouragement Therapeutic journal exercises Prayer pages Affirmations Space to process your emotions honestly Practical tools to support your healing journey Whether you are grieving a loved one, recovering from trauma, navigating heartbreak, or simply searching for hope, What Pain Taught Me will remind you that you are not alone.
