Thomas Dowell is an accomplished Private Pilot as well as a commercial drone pilot with over seven years of experience in aerial mapping and commercial drone operations. Since earning his commercial drone license in 2018, he has collaborated with inspection companies, Real Estate Developers, civil engineers, and surveyors on projects ranging from LiDAR and photogrammetry to volumetrics and RGB and thermal inspections. His expertise spans diverse applications, including multispectral forestry analysis, infrastructure inspections, search and rescue missions, big game recovery, and pet searches. A private pilot and the son of a pilot, Tom has been captivated by flight since the age of five, when he first took to the skies while sitting in the right seat of his father's Piper Cherokee 180. This lifelong passion, combined with his engineering background, fuels his authoritative yet practical approach to drone technology.
