As war devastates his Ukraine homeland, Ihor Pavlyuk writes to survive, remember, and understand.
Spanning the months between Christmas 2025 and The Annunciation 2026, this intimate diary becomes a conversation with the world. Pavlyuk documents daily life beneath the shadow of Russian attacks while reflecting on a childhood tragedy that left him orphaned at just nine days old.
Through power outages, grief, prayer, poetry, and even conversations with AI, Pavlyuk searches for meaning amid devastation. What emerges is not only a portrait of war, but of endurance. This a life shaped by faith, love, and an unwavering desire to remain human in inhuman times.
Part memoir, part philosophy, and part living document, this work invites readers into a community of reflection where hope persists even as darkness closes in.
