For most of his adult life Wayne has helped employees of companies avoid workplace injuries by identifying hazardous situations around them. As a father of three and grandfather of six he understands that children are also susceptible to being hurt while at home. As parents and grandparents, we generally teach our toddlers about dangers when they encounter them. The scary part is when the toddler encounters a danger and we are not there to teach them. The OUCH! Series of books is designed to help us teach our toddlers about the dangers before they encounter them. In this manner, we are preparing them to remain safe even if we are not around.
