Member's copy. Undated, though the book's Introduction refers to sixty thousand copies of the first edition having been 'disposed of' since its publication three years previously - (so this book could be late 1920s). Filled with itineraries, location summaries, town plans, mileage lists, and many b/w maps. The maps at the end of the book (i.e. the London Throughway Map with Landmarks, followed by a route map of the rest of England & Wales; plus Scotland) are in colour. Also includes an Annual Report 1963 leaflet (see image). There is a navy blue cotton bookmark which has become detached. Condition (external) the very dark green cloth boards with their gilt (gold) titles are in a sound state although with some bending at the corners. Likewise the spine is a little crushed at the head and tail. Internally, the main condition-related issue is the mild to moderate level of tanning with occasional spotting - more prominent on the preliminary and final pages.
