One of a series of large-format ABC books published by McLoughlin in the 1880s, printed on actual linen, with verses very peripherally related to nature: A for Anchor, B for Baker, C for Chinaman (!), D for Dromedary, et cetera; vivid chromolithographed art, one sub-panel for each letter (I & J share one). Worn, covers frayed & chipped, interior creased & stained, ink name inside cover. 16 pages counting the covers, half in full color; sewn pamphlet. Size: 7¾" by 10¼".
