Il Savioli fu docente di arte diplomatica nello studio bolognese, citt� ove nacque e visse tra il 1729 e il 1804. Deve la fama al presente testo di liriche anacreontiche, pubblicato in Venezia da Remondini nel 1758, ma divenuto celebre per le splendide edizioni bodoniane del 1795 e del 1802. > Gamba, 2670.
