He also directs the University of Miami Behavioral Medicine Research Center; the Department of Psychology’s Division of Health Psychology; and an NIH NHLBI institutional (T32) training grant (1979-2024). Dr. Schneiderman has published more than 450 journal articles and 18 books and monographs, and has served as editor-in-chief of Health Psychology and the International Journal of Behavioral Medicine. He has been funded as the principal investigator of NIH and National Science Foundation research grants for over 5 decades.
