THE APPLE TREE. Dieser Artikel ist nicht verfügbar.THE APPLE TREE

The Apple Tree collection contains eighty-two poems depicting human issues, and problems of the past and present with some emphasis on religion embedded in Caribbean culture. With themes highlighting our African ancestors – their struggles, relationships, man’s basic needs, global problems, love, memories and beliefs, the writer seeks to stir thoughtful debate and invoke change as readers reflect upon the themes. Some poems are written in erudite English with emphasis on the past while others are more contemporary. The poems reflect Caribbean history and culture, give a sense of nostalgia, and seek to awaken the human soul while reflecting on the world with a magnitude of problems. Readers will enjoy this literary journey from Saint Lucia to the wider world.
