No inscriptions. Hinge and text block fragile, strings showing between some pages, especially in the section of plates at the rear of the book. There are 68 full page plans, drawings and black and white photographic illustrations. The closed page edges are a little grubby, but internally the pages are smooth and clean, without spotting.
