Hymns proclaim the Gospel by pointing you to Jesus. They teach, console, encourage, and guide you through their text and melodies. As a Christian, you've inherited these hymns as they've been passed down through generations-and they deserve to be used on a daily basis. Abide With Us uses hymns as the basis for a full year of devotions. Starting on January 1, immerse yourself in a daily devotion that includes a stanza from a Lutheran Service Book hymn, a Bible verse, and a 1-page reflection. Find comfort and joy in the heart-warming language of the hymns while seeing how your own life finds similar rhythms to theirs.
