Title pages says the Captain was Ebenezer Howes Jr., whereas the first page states he was Thomas Howes Jr. Pamphlet was written by one of the sailors abused by the Captain and recounts his experience and also other behavior such as detaining an Englishman (not of the crew) on board until the ship had left Liverpool and then attempting to force him to work.
