Early printing with six b/w plates (including frontis) with one illustration having a lengthwise crease from poor closing. Tan cloth with black and red illustration. Very minor shelf/edge wear. A small/neat previous owner name on blank ffep, dated 1933. Illustrated dust jacket has a listing on rear panel of authors several series titles. Jacket has a 3/4" chip at rear top panel with tiny chips and creases overall to extremities. Front flap has a 1-1/2" tear/chip to lower fold. Flaps are publishers listings of authors titles.
