It is square, very clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings and with very lightly bumped head and heel of the spine; the spine is clean and not faded; bottom edges and lower corners have virtually no wear; the hinges are strong and tight. The interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any type and paper damage of any sort. The paper is slightly toned but is very flexible. The VG- jacket has a tiny chip at the top front corner, a very tiny chip at the top edge of the front panel, and tiny chips, folds and spots of color loss at the head and heel of the spine.
