Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Gail Siggelakis, M. Ed, is an educator, conflict resolution specialist, and two-time teacher of the Year award recipient. For decades she has positively impacted students, parents, colleagues, friends and family with her affirming way of life approach to living. Early on in her teaching career, she realized the powerful impact she had on young people's sense of self. In the classroom and beyond it became her life mission to use her words to strengthen and support others. Growing up with a bipolar mother, Gail has always been a seeker of spiritual and psychological insights to help her find peace amidst the chaos. Inspired by her mother's best attribute and drawing upon her extensive personal growth work, she developed the affirming way of life approach to deepen relationships and spread more positive energy in the world. Gail loves setting goals that get her outdoors in the beauty of nature. She has run all eighteen boardwalks in New Jersey, and her latest project is hiking in every national park in the United States with her husband, Gus. She and her family enjoy trips to Greece to Gus's mountain village, Anavryti.
