Hardbound book in very good condition. One of an edition of 250 copies, signed by Heaney twice: flatsigned on colophon, and inscribed on FFEP "Seamus Heaney in Deerfield May 1979." Illustration by Timothy Engelland. Unpaginated. Crisp, clean pages on cream paper with isolated foxing to upper edge of text block. Brown cloth boards show faint isolated wear areas, otherwise straight and sharp cornered. Bright gilt lettering on spine. Both front and rear pastedowns show a pinkish, very faint discoloration, likely from the glue in the binding process. Buff paper dust jacket in mylar shows sunning to spine and edges, and moderate shelfwear to resulting in chipping at head and tail of spine and leading corners. Please see our photo.
