Two-tone green binding with bright gilt lettering and embellishments on cover, somewhat faded gilt on spine, a little shelf wear to top and bottom of spine ow practically no shelf wear, very slight soiling to cover, po ffepp, frontispiece engraving of author with tissue protection, "twenty-seventh thousand" printed on title page. End papers are slightly toned ow text has practically no toning except where po laid in newspaper clippings related to the author, one being a cartoon from the Terre Haute Star dated July 26, 1916.
