From The Akashic Field: It Makes Every Place in the Universe Part of the Neighborhood It is easy to entertain the idea that religions and spirituality make sense only when we consider the probability of the Akashic Field. What we call Heaven, the Other Side, and even Nirvana, are inconceivable without an Akashic Field. In using this concept, we are able, for the first time, to provide rational answers to where the soul goes between so-called death and rebirth. As if by magic so many of life’s questions can now find answers, even the concept of the existence of the soul coming from the unseen universe and returning to it periodically. It is only the physical body that perishes as eventually all material must—when it is no longer needed. This field even makes the appearance and disappearance of photons possible. The actions of photons provide answers to non-locality in communication. We can communicate over long distances only because our thoughts enter and emerge from this stated Akashic Field. As Einstein said, "There is no space between souls." The actual appearance of the universe can now also be explained.

Chapter One
Understanding Akasha And Prana
"In early times, perhaps 3,000-5,000 years ago, Sanskrit referred to the Akasha as ether. This is no longer believed. Akasha is a subtle element of a higher state. It could also be translated as space or sky ... It is the subtlest of elements and cannot be seen. From it comes fire. From fire comes air. From air comes water and from water comes earth. This is how it was and will be for eternity. These are the five eternal elements which have been seen by high yogis. Akasha is infinite. It is so boundless ... Everything that has ever been, was ever said or has ever taken place is recorded in the Akasha by electro-magnetic vibrations. Nothing goes unnoticed. These records are preserved for eternity. They are never erased. They have been read and seen by yogis and those trained. In the Akasha we find that everything and everyone is connected. You must be able to transcend your senses in order to have access. This is usually done by meditation." [From a Satsang, a spiritual discourse, by Swami Amar Jyoti.]
When speaking of the Akashic Field, as it is referred to in the Hindu tradition, or the Akashic Chronicle, as it is referred to in the Metaphysical tradition—a discipline often identified as spiritual, we are speaking of the essence, the very foundation of the life of the universe. We can speak of the Akasha as the soul of all that is. When speaking from within a scientific discipline, the understanding of the Akasha has much scientific support. Reporting on this is, in fact, now so pervasive that a long repetition of such here might merely serve to digress from our integrative purpose. We prefer to see, in this work, a "scientific spirituality" as a process of verifying information obtained through meditation, and then confirming or validating through reference with at least one other recognized reference system. During this writing we intend to provide sources of such hard information for those requiring those "facts."
We will now discuss "facts" of a different order. Yes, in Sanskrit the meaning of akasha is "sky" but to those who understood, it was always "hidden sky" or even "invisible sky." The ancient far-eastern seekers referred to it as the source of all matter and energy. It is also the source of all life and produces everything that was, is, and will be. There is no other way for anything to be created, other than being brought forth from the Akashic Field. All physical matter has its source in the Akashic which is not in time but is the source of all that is in time. This was common knowledge in India and Tibet where the rishis, priests and seekers sought such awareness. When the time comes for things to have completed their stay in the physical universe, they then returned to the Akasha. Nothing was ever lost, including the records of their existence.
Since everything, and all space, was and is Akasha, invisible and hidden to the physical eye, it was and is non-local. This establishes the principle that in communicating in a non-physical way, distance is immaterial and also instant. As Einstein said "There is no space between souls," there is literally no time or space in the spiritual realm. Subtle energy studies have validated this factor. Since the Akashic Field is also holographic, as well as non-local, all parts are instantly available. It also becomes clear that all written material, all speech, ideas, and action, are also recorded in the Akasha, not just for now or this year but for all eternity. All this would then, certainly, be observable to the trained observer at the crossing over point in one's life review.
In some ancient religions which hold today, there are many principles which seem to be eternal, and their insights are most helpful and enlightening. Since each of us has been incarnated many times, it may even be a remembering, a remembering by a being itself part of the Akashic, as is everyone and everything (except for the soul, which is an eternal and separate creation by prana—universal energy, or vital force). Any `item,' as part of the Akashic, is both sides of the coin at the very same time, visible/physical and invisible/hidden—just as all time is enfolded in the Akashic—past, present and future.
At this time it seems appropriate to cite a simple statement by Tertullian from The Apology: "Thou can'st not call that madness of which thou art proved to know nothing."
To many people, the concept of a productive, hidden energy field recording and creating literally everything appears to be a new concept. This is so even as it offers an explanation for many puzzling questions, and has been keenly and repeatedly observed by extremely reputable individuals. We can only say, "Please keep on reading, complete the book, read it again and only then begin the long process of evaluating it."
The truth of the existence of the Akashic Field is one which will be accepted by more scientists over time. For those seeking to explain much of creation and also to understand the past, the present, and the future, it is a ray of light and offers a reference frame within which to explore many questions, as well as the possibility for refinement of vision and understanding.
As with any substantial subject it is worth a dedication to its study and experience. There are layers of reality to pierce in any thoughtful study, and this is a challenge befitting a human endeavor. A fuller and more honest understanding of our past will allow immense strides forward.
The many strains of life beginning with water, rock, vegetable, animal, and human are all derived from the same core. All are projected from the Akashic and all will eventually return to the Akashic. Through the process of evolution there will come a time when the physical universe is no longer needed for our evolution and then the Akashic Field will have done its work. The universe will be as in the beginning except for the full creation of eternal souls. When all manifested energy—prana—is no longer needed in the physical universe, it returns to its source—prana. Prana is both the source of all energy and energy...
