An album of political cartoons by Jack Webster cut from the Daily Graphic newspaper during the political crisis of 1911. the album (13 x 19.5cm) is bound in cloth (stained) and consists of 50 leaves with over 90 cartoons (each 8.5 x 12cm) cut from the newspaper and pasted into the album. The condition of the pages and cartoons is good: the surrounds are dust stained with some spotting but the cartoons are clean. Album end-papers spotted and tears in the fore-edge of two leavesnot affecting the cartoons. Ownership inscription of F M Railton, dated 1911, in top right of front free end-paper, along with title "Cuttings from the Daily Graphic". Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 025175
