Special Edition. 2 volumes. [10], 152; [10], 168 pp. Quarter blue and red cloth over pictorial paper-covered boards with gilt lettering to spines, in card slipcase with tipped-on illustration. Slipcase bear some sunning and and markings. With a little rubbing at the spines, and minor tears to the paper at the rear covers. With an ink ownership name to the first free endpapers, and some markings to the rear endpapers of volume 1; otherwise internally fresh and clean. This 'special' edition reproduces the Tenniel illustrations in colour by Fritz Kredel. 8vo. Illustrated. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 72870

Slipcase is worn with some splitting at the edges, and darkened with some water staining. A marking to the foot of volume 1's spine, and some sunning to the cloth of both volumes. Bindings firm.
