Undated Circa 1956, hardcover in dark green cloth covered boards. Spine has the slightest forward lean, with lightly brushed ends but tips still sharp. 256pp text is tight, crisp, and fresh smelling. B/W Frontispiece. Bright B/W illustrations on glossy leaves. Previous owner gift dedication, "To Valerie, XMAS 1962" on FEP. No writing, highlighting or soil inside. Professionally reproduced dj is unclipped with no price present, is chipping but displays well in new mylar. As always at the beginning of holidays at Clarig, that delectable place on the coast of Sutherland, Alison Campbell and her brother Niall can look forward to days packed with fascinating things to do. But this time Alison has a new attraction to think about, for she has been offered the loan of a pony, and a cross-country ride is planned with her friends Shona and Sallie.
