Externally very smart, with just a little bumping to the head and tail of the spine, resulting in a touch of discolouration to the cloth; a very small amount of loss to the spine of volume II. Ownership bookplate and inscription to the front pastedown and endpaper respectively. Internally, generally firmly bound, with a little straining to the hinges, which remain firm.
