All sound bindings, in red cloth with uniform t.e.g. on all 7 Titles: Discovery of America (2 vol.), Beginnings of New England (1 vol.), Dutch and Quaker Colonies in America (2 vol.), and The American Revolution, (2 vols. ) A nice set, no defects or damages, looks to have been a shelf ornament and not a working library set. 7 vols. in all, of perhaps 11 that were issued. Gift note inked in each book offered here. Lacking the "Essays", which were in 2 vols, and perhaps 2 more. All these books are cloth bound. There was also a set issued in leather, it appears.
