Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. 1922 (reprint). Title page reads: "A foundation of useful knowledge of the higher animals of North America." Green clothbound without a dustjacket in very good condition. Exterior is bumped at spine and corners. Cloth is very clean and presentable. Elaborate lettering and wildlife images on cover and spine are well preserved. Ex-library copy from the Department of Rural Education, with normal markings. From the title page: "Illustrated by 227 original drawings by Beard, Rungius, Sawyer, and others, 116 photographs, chiefly by Sanborn, Keller, and Underwood, and numerous charts and maps." Ffep is cracked and creased. Interior is very clean and tight, in fine condition except for 7 missing (all cut out) pictures of wildlife within the text.
