The anthology mostly contains works by young Soviet Jewish poets (David Hofstein, Peretz Markish, Ezra Feininberg, Kadya Moldavsky, Asher Schwarzman, and others) that were written in the years of the Russian Revolution and Civil War. The cover, title fonts, and illustrations were created by the artist Avraham Minchin (1898-1931), a Kiev-born Ukrainian-Jewish artist who moved to Paris in 1925. The publisher's logo was designed by Yisakhar Ber Rybak. Stains, some dark. First leaves detached. Some loose leaves. Creases to edges of first leaves and cover. Tears to edges of cover and spine.
