In association with his wife he produced Rouse's Scraps of Sussex, drawn and published by James Rouse and engraved by Elizabeth Rouse. This was in the form of an illustrated ten sheet folio sized folder, now very rare. The engravings found in this volume of Ancient and Modern History of Lewes are drawn and published by C Rouse and in most cases the engravikng has been credited to contemporary lithographer, Charles Ingrey. A very unusual find which is both fascinating and memorable, a comprehensive book about historic Lewes - a Sussex Town that remains beautiful and atmospheric. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 16342
