A leather bound edition of Angel Pavement by J. B. Priestley, A social panorama of the city of London seen through the eyes of employees situated on the first floor of No. 8, Angel Pavement. Originally published in 1930, Angel Pavement followed Priestley's successful The Good Companions. J. B. Priestley was a novelist, playwright and scriptwriter, who is perhaps best known for his 1945 play 'An Inspector Calls'. A half calf binding with gilt detailing to spine. Externally, quite smart with some marking to front board and spine. Joints starting but still firm. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages with the occasional spot and handling mark.
