An archive of two broadsides and two flyers related to Michael and Patty s Puppets, children s performers based in Greenwich, Connecticut in 1934. Printed sheets of tan, yellow, and white that range from 6" x 9" to 11" x 17" Overall very good or better with creases from being folded, a few spots, and with tears or pin holes at the corners of one broadside. Michael and Patty s Puppets was led by the female puppeteer team of Michael Kiff and Patty Smith, the latter an art instructor at New Canaan Community School in Connecticut. The pair toured during the summers between 1930 and 1936 with director Wakeman Hartley and his wife Lois Hartley, their business manager. The pair largely performed in and around Connecticut. These broadside promote several shows of the 1934 season (and likely illustrated by Kiff): "The Little Red Pony," "A Puppet Plum Pudding," "Look Pleasant Please!", "The Puppet Circus," and "The Gypsy Caravan."
