This account of his life and adventures were told to Scottish writer and explorer Isobel Wylie Hutchinson while she was traveling alongside Masik near Martin Point, Alaska, 1933 to 1934.Containing nine full page plates, one of which is in colour. Collated and complete.Originally published in 1935, this copy is from the Travel Library Edition, published in 1936. It is a very scarce work.Containing an ink inscription from a previous owner to the front free-endpaper: 'Miriam B.G. Shearman, May 17th, 1943, From Ruth.' In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart, with some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Slight darkening to the spine, and a small stain to the tail of the spine. Previous owner's ink inscription to the front free-endpaper. Internally, front hinge slightly tender, but firm. Volume is firmly bound. A few spots to the fore-edge. A few instances of spotting to the pages, more prominent to the first and last few pages, but otherwise pages are clean. Very Good. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 798J15
