Dark blue cloth boards with gilt decoration and lettering to front and spine. Spine is very worn and frayed top and bottom. Rear hinges are beginning to split. Binding is cocked. Edges are bumped. Pastedowns are faded. Front plate is detached but present. Seventy two colour plates by Lovett. Pages are age-tanned with scattered foxing. Previous owner's signature on fep.
