Vom Autor: Dear reader, I started writing "THE CLOSERS", aka "The Art Of Closing Any Deal", in 1977. I personally published "THE CLOSERS", aka "The Art Of Closing Any Deal", and, it was released in 1981 as,"The Little Blue Book" with "MY NAME", on it "James W. Pickens". In the last of 1981 a swindler and, thief named Ben Gay III, went behind my back and, signed an illegal contract with one of my partners to promote "MY BOOK", "THE CLOSERS", for one year, even though both contracts were illegal. Ben Gay III, published and, sold "MY BOOK", "THE CLOSERS", taking "MY NAME" and, dedication out the book completely. Then, he published "MY BOOK", "THE CLOSERS" under the publishing names (National Toll Free Marketing),(Adirections) and, today his fraudulent publishing company's names are, (Hampton House Publishing) or, (Hampton Books). He published "MY BOOK",  with his name on the cover, promoting himself as the author and, editor and, continues to do so to this day. I have legally chased Ben Gay III for over 30 years using numerous attorney's. Until, the FBI arrested him in 1990. The Federal court in Sacramento, CA. sentenced Ben Gay III, to 14 years in The Federal Penitentiary at Lompoc, CA. under the "RICO ACT". He was convicted on 55 counts ranging from,mail fraud, tax evasion and, interstate transport of fraudulently obtained property in connection with a company called (National Toll Free Marketing) based in Placerville, CA. Since his release from prison, he has continued to promote, "MY BOOK", "THE CLOSERS", as his own. The reason I'm telling you this story now is because this story is the truth and, I do not want you or, anyone else to be deceived or, taken advantage of.
