Full antique leather, possibly contemporary. Licence preliminary page adhered to board, missing one preliminary leaf. 150 pages, missing final two leaves and two leaves adverts indicated in Toole Stott. The first of at least nine editions of the same work, containing secrets like "How to make water boil and sparkle," and "To make letters that will soon vanish." This 17th century edition of the book is considered rare, while the later 18th century editions are more easily found.
