Über diesen Titel:

Inhaltsangabe: "Caroline Lion is an exceptionally imaginative author. Her talent, diligence and discipline have produced many entertaining and illuminating books over the years and I've enjoyed them all." Alan Rinzler (co-founder Rolling Stone Magazine) "I'd follow Caroline (Kitty) Lion to the edges of the Serengeti ...and farther." Tom Robbins (best selling novelist) These are the words that have been used to describe the writing of Caroline Lion: Scintillating, wild, vivid, painfully true, entertaining, conscious, real, mystical, healing, compassionate, artistic, foundational, observant, piercing, prophetic, fun, jarring, edgy, and brilliant. "Ashlandia can be seen as the place where two paths meet...the study of Torah with the study of fiction; the beat/hippie New Age generations with modern midrash. It's written with respect and love for all people who know the many hurdles we face on the Ashlandia path." Caroline Lion

Über den Autor: Caroline (Chava or Kitty) Lion has written seven full length novels, two published. Her work has been endorsed by respected novelists, editors, poets and rabbis. Former literary manager of the award winning Magic Theater of San Francisco, her plays have received staged readings and festival productions. A professor of creative writing for fifteen years at Rogue Community College in Oregon, Caroline Lion was mentored by beat writers and theater artists during the explosion of the arts in San Francisco of the 1970s and 1980s. She is the widow of theater director John Lion and presently she's a rabbinic student at the Academy for Jewish Religion (Los Angeles) and a PhD student in Claremont. Her two homes are on Mt Baldy, California and in the mountains of southern Oregon near her four beautiful children.
