Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: David Perrin was director of the undergraduate athletic training programme at the University of Pittsburgh from 1979-1986 and programme director of graduate athletic training at the University of Virginia from 1986-2001. He was also editor-in-chief of the Journal of Athletic Training from 1996 to 2004 and the founding editor of the Journal of Sport Rehabilitation.
