Boies' History of DeKalb County, Illinois, the DeKalb County Historical Society turned its attention to the selection of the next publication in its tentative series of reprints of important out-of-print publications relating to the history of DeKalb County. The several nineteenth century histories were given some consideration; but with Boies' basic history again in print, the Society turned its attention to a different type of county history ---- the first four DeKalb County atlases and plat books.
