The history of the steam railroads between the Hudson River and Buffalo and the Niagara River, which in 1853 were consolidated into The New York Central Railroad Company, particular attention being given to the Mohawk and Hudson Railroad, incorporated April 17, 1826, and which began operation August 9, 1831, with a map and many correct historical illustrations.
