The covers are lightly rubbed, soiled & bumped with slight fraying to the top corner of the rear cover. The spine is somewhat faded. The dw is lightly chipped & soiled & has been repaired & reinforced internally with cloth tape & scotch tape. There is a small handwritten label on the tail of the dw spine. Half- title, title, 1 leaf & 41 & [1] pp. There is an owner's ink name on the front endpaper. Full-page & textual B&W illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard.
