A fascinating period book, which is so fascinating and extremely informative, but primarily a catalogue of its day, dated 1939. Its a blue paper hardback book with gilt titles on the front board and spine. The book itself is in reasonably good condition, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. The boards are faded, and the spine is worn and torn both at the base and top of the spine. 431 pages are all intact, the binding is still strong and firm, all pages, text and illustrations are in good, clean, readable order.
