Barbizon House, London, 1924. Softcover, unpaginated (approx 70 pp). Limited edition printed on heavy deckle-edged paper. Numbered copy; this is #361 of 500 presentation copies. Barbizon House was a prestigious art gallery which published annual end-of-year illustrated reviews of artworks it displayed, every year from 1919 to 1938. Welsh artist Frank Brangwyn (1867-1956) is the artist most prominently featured in this issue. Other artworks shown are by D. Y. Cameron, Leon L'Hermitte, Gustave Courbet, Edouard Manet, Josef Israels, George Romeney, John Singer Sargent, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, and others. Illustrations are tipped-in sepia toned plates. Very good condition with water /condensation stain on corner of front and rear wraps, slightly affecting some interior pages. Binding is solid.
