Title Continues: The Beauties of England and Wales - Introduction to the Original Delineations, Topographical, Historical and Descriptive. Comprising Observations on the History and Antiquities of the Britons, the Romans in Britain, the Anglo-Saxons, the Anglo-Danes. Originally done by Britton & Wedlake but finished by JN Brewer. Brewer, novelist and topographer. His topographical writings began with A descriptive and historical account of various palaces and public buildings, English and foreign; with biographical notices of their founders or builders, and other eminent persons in 1810.
