Clove Daniels and Jonah Jourdan are best friends. They are not in love—at least that’s what they keep telling themselves, but after a long summer apart, it’s clear that absence has made their hearts grow fonder. Unfortunately, Clove is moving across the country to help her dad with a new business venture. She’s afraid to start a long distance relationship with someone who means so much to her. So Jonah and Clove say goodbye and vow to remain just friends. The true test of their friendship begins when they each experience setbacks and challenges at the start of the school year. Their struggles push them closer than they’ve ever been before as they constantly and unselfishly come to each other’s aid. What they thought was just a friendship, is a much deeper love that neither of them can deny.
