An excellent survey of fine printing, culminating in a review of contemporary printers including Bruce Rogers, Stanley Morison, William Edwin Rudge, Eric Gill, Frederic Goudy, the Grabhorns, et al. Also includes reference to publishers and book stores. Printed at a time when the fine press movement had achieved its zenith, Johnston's overview serves as an informed guide to fine printing.
