Edited by Laurentius Rhodomanus [Lorenz Rhodoman] 1546-1606 who was a school Master who towards the latter part of his life became Professor of Greek and Latin at Jena and Wittenberg. First printed in 1604. Dibdin I p497 ' Rhodomannus was prevailed upon by H. Stephen to compose a Latin translation of this historian, which hee has here executed with great care and fidelity. The text is purely Stephen's; not a single additional MS has been consulted. but it is a correct and respectable one". Text block browned throughout.
